30 years of legal experience in the courtrooms of southeastern Louisiana. Dara Baird has represented clients in such diverse matters as legal malpractice, construction litigation, contested succession cases, the pursuit of personal injury claims on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants, as well as arguing the nuances of temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, labor law disputes and mandamus actions before the courts.

From the beginning, in a time honored New Orleans tradition, Dara Baird has handled family law matters such as wills, divorces and community partitions for her clients. She continues in that capacity, representing her clients with small contract negotiations, and guiding them through life mishaps requiring the assistance of a legal counselor.

As she began her career, Dara Baird defended insurance companies and their insureds against personal injury and wrongful death claims. She understands the other side when arguing personal injury claims on behalf of a plaintiff. Because she represented numerous insurance companies in lawsuits, she understands traffic law and civil litigation from the perspective of the defense. She has represented persons injured in automobile accidents. She has litigated cases concerning wills, trusts  and contested estates across the region.
